Our client is an international leading chemical company. Its core business is the production and sales of a diverse portfolio of petrochemical products such as intermediates, polyethylene, styrene and elastomers.
The company is known for its strong brand, standing for quality, innovation and a highly personalized after-sales and customer service.
As the company is expanding fast, we are now looking for a skilled Sales Representative - Petrochemical Products (m/f) with a special interest in polymers, styrene and a cooperative, highly agile management style to start at the earliest possible date in his home office.


-Reach the proposed periodical sales targets in terms of quantity, pricing and customer base development;
-Negotiate prices, volumes, payment terms in accord with the sales policy and strategy;
-Establish and manage the relationship with assigned existing customers, including key customers.
-Identify new customers in the target market segments developing sales opportunities;
-Processing and monitoring of technical and logistic claims received from customers;
-Preparation and application of customer credit line requests
-Regularly report to the Sales Area Manager about the status of the assigned customers and market segments in terms of sales forecast, competition behaviour, pricing and customer needs development;
-New projects and products development in cooperation with technical service organization


-Preferably technical degree qualification (chemical or materials engineering, industrial chemistry), or similar due to experience, or an appropriate university economical qualification
-A minimum of 3 years of technical or commercial experience, ideally in companies producing, distributing or transforming plastic
-Strong technical customer support and customer calling background
-Strong negotiations skills, including an ability to "close the deal"
-New Business Development
-Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills
-Excellent communication, interpersonal skill and relationship building skills at all levels
-Strong computer skills with emphasis on Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
-Confident, self-motivated and possess an ability to think strategically
- German: mother tongue level; English: fluently spoken and written


- This position will be compensated with a gross annual fee of 60,000 EUR
- Depending on qualifications and experience, there is a willingness for overpayment
- A company car is also available for private use.
