Our client is a Austrian-based, multinational global player in the building & construction industry, with a strong focus on innovation and technology. The company with a presence in 20+ countries is a driving force in transforming the construction industry towards a more sustainable approach.

For a new & innovative product line, they are currently recruiting an International Business Development Manager (f/m/x) with a focus on building-integrated energy solutions / photovoltaic components.


  • Define and implement the PV strategy in close cooperation with corporate functions as well as with local commercial teams
  • Create a strong Route-to-Market plan to support our county organizations and Commercial Directors
  • Analyze different market environments and help our local commercial teams to introduce the photovoltaic system to the markets
  • Make the best use of existing commercial structures and create additional channels to drive up sales volume
  • Differentiate the the company's PV systems from competitors through an exceptional marketing communication strategy
  • Further steering of the development and growth of our PV systems
  • Ongoing supplier evaluation and guidance on strategic decisions
  • Maintain a strong relationship with the production facilities and act as the interface between the markets and production
  • Manage the full supply chain as well as evaluate suppliers of accessories
  • Establish and track KPIs to support the continuous growth of the business


  • At least 5 years of experience in Product Management, Category Management, or Sales preferably with a PV background
  • Degree in electrical engineering, electrotechnology, or business administration
  • 5 years of experience in an international (corporate) environment
  • Very good knowledge of the PV market as well as of relevant products and systems
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver and execute an international Rout-to-market strategy for a new product group
  • Experience in setting up and deliver a marketing communication strategy
  • Can do-attitude and high affinity to challenge the existing and to foster innovation
  • Fluent in English is obligatory for this position. Any other European language is beneficial
  • Willingness to travel
