(Swiss-German) Wholesale Manager - International Fashion Group

Our client is an international player in the fashion industry with a diverse clientele and global outreach, operating as a retailer, wholesaler and sourcing office. In response to their rapid growth in recent years, they are looking to hire a Wholesale Manager who speaks Native Swiss-German to help expand their wholesale business from an international perspective. This is an exciting role suitable for entrepreneurial candidates with a strong background in the fashion industry.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and Head of Merchandising, you will be based in Hong Kong, taking up a leadership role to lead a team of franchise executives. You will also take on the key responsibility for expanding their global wholesale business presence. You will drive your business development initiatives by developing effective and strong relationships with all business partners in each market.
You will present samples and inventory (merchandise) to retailers and partners, while managing all logistics, planning, allocation, and stock flow for the group's wholesale business. You will also monitor all wholesale receivables, revenues and expenses from analysing market conditions and utilising consumer insights to develop strategic sales plan. This position requires occasional travels.

The successful candidate must be a Native Swiss-German speaker. You will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in a sales role for an international brand, preferably in the fashion industry. As a leader for this market, you must have the ability to strategically develop markets and drive results. You must be a self-starter with excellent sales management, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Being proactive and creative would be critical for this position. Fluency in Swiss-German and English are required, an additional Asian language (Chinese or Cantonese) would be advantageous.
