This position combines piping layout and design, 3D modeling, and engineering activities within technically demanding projects across the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food processing industries.

Projects cover the entire lifecycle, from the initial process concept and detailed engineering through to on-site commissioning. Aufgabengebiet

  • Design and development of piping systems within complex plant engineering projects
  • Creation of 3D models, piping layouts and isometric drawings
  • Positioning of piping, valves and equipment while considering technical, maintenance and accessibility requirements
  • Coordination with Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Design teams
  • Implementation of ongoing project modifications within dynamic engineering projects
  • Development of technical solutions for complex piping routes and layouts
  • Calculation and design of pipe supports and load-bearing systems (especially for senior profiles)
  • Support of piping calculations and technical assessments
  • Participation in supplier inspections, equipment acceptance tests and on-site installation support
  • Preparation and maintenance of project-related engineering documentation



Anforderungsprofil

  • Completed technical education (technical college, university of applied sciences or university degree) in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Engineering or a comparable discipline
  • Professional experience in plant engineering, piping design or piping engineering
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Plant 3D and/or Autodesk Inventor
  • Alternatively, experience with Creo, SolidWorks or Solid Edge
  • Understanding of plant layouts, piping design principles and process engineering environments
  • Experience in chemical, pharmaceutical or food processing plant projects is desirable
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • German language skills are considered an advantage
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
  • Willingness to travel on a project-related basis
