In this role, you will support international plant engineering projects from the concept phase through to commissioning and take on technical responsibility from an early stage.

Aufgabengebiet

  • Design and sizing of process and production plants with regard to capacity, raw materials and product specifications
  • Preparation of mass and energy balances as the basis for plant design
  • Definition of process steps, process parameters and technical requirements for plant components
  • Development of process engineering fundamentals for technical documentation, process descriptions and plant concepts
  • Selection and specification of suitable equipment, machinery and components in cooperation with suppliers and internal departments
  • Technical coordination with customers as well as support in safety assessments and HAZOP studies
  • Participation in international projects from planning through FATs and SATs to commissioning at customer sites
  • Support in the further development of existing production processes and the integration of new technologies and technical solutions

Anforderungsprofil

  • Completed university degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemical Process Technology or a comparable technical discipline
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, Master's degree preferred
  • Interest in international plant engineering, process plant engineering or chemical plant engineering
  • Initial experience in plant engineering, the chemical, pharmaceutical, food or process industry is advantageous
  • Graduates and early-career professionals are explicitly welcome
  • Understanding of process engineering principles as well as mass and energy balances
  • Interest in the technical design and sizing of plants and production processes
  • Analytical mindset combined with a structured and solution-oriented way of working
  • Hands-on mentality and enjoyment in solving technical challenges pragmatically
  • Team-oriented approach and interest in collaborating with customers, suppliers and interdisciplinary engineering teams
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
  • German language skills are considered an advantage
  • Willingness to travel internationally and participate in project-related commissioning assignments
